Wednesday World Series links

If you look at this matchup between the Red Sox and the Rockies, then it's really no contest. The Red Sox are a veteran team, complete with big-time pitchers and two of the best bats in the game. And they're red hot. Meanwhile, the Rockies have had 8 days off and still haven't touched home plate. But so what? What matters is that the Rockies crushed Beckett and Schilling in the regular season. What matters is that they'll make the Red Sox pay for mistakes, rather than screw them up like the Indians did. What matters is that they have no expectations hanging over them and no annoying fan base. And lastly, they supposedly have God on their side. I'm not really sure that last one counts, but with the way they've played their last 22 games, you never know.

On to the links.
