The Sharks finished off the Nashville Predators Friday night to advance to the second round of the NHL playoffs. All I know is that despite the fact that the Sharks had the lower seed (#5) and the Preds had a regular season record advantage of 3-1, the Sharks were expected to absolutely kill the Predators. Why, I'm not sure, because I don't watch any hockey. But the Sharks definitely did what they were told to do quickly and efficiently. I'm told Patrick Marleau and Joe Thornton played well this series, so I'll go with that. And just in case you want Sharkie (pictured above) to come over and celebrate with you If you're nice to him, he may even do a great Planet Earth imitation.
