Everyone says that Yanks/Red Sox is the best rivalry in baseball. That's certainly true for the present day. But historically the blood feud between the Giants and Dodgers is the best rivalry in baseball history. It dates all the way back to their days in New York together and it hasn't eased up at all since they came west. We hate them and they hate us. Tonight in Round 1, the Giants won 5-3, making today the best day in the history of the world. The Giants are also heating up. After having won 6 in a row their record now stands at 10-8.

Giants Report: Blood Feud
Everyone says that Yanks/Red Sox is the best rivalry in baseball. That's certainly true for the present day. But historically the blood feud between the Giants and Dodgers is the best rivalry in baseball history. It dates all the way back to their days in New York together and it hasn't eased up at all since they came west. We hate them and they hate us. What do you mean "best rivalry?" Maybe to you, personally. Historically, the Giants were like the red headed stepchild to New York fans. Good riddance, you can have them.
Last time I checked, the Red Sox-Yankees rivalry never has an attempted murder in it. Just look up the beating Juan Marichal gave Johnny Roseboro with a baseball bat on August 22, 1965. That's why it's a blood feud, and not just a normal rivalry.
