The Drought is Over
If you're a Warriors fan (like I am), then you're having one hell of a night
even though we're going to get crushed by Dallas in the playoffs. After 13 years The City is finally back in the playoffs and playing the brand of basketball that got them there all those years ago: Nellieball also known as "the poor man's Phoenix Suns". A lot of things can happen during a drought that long, like almost all of Chris Webber's career and more than 3 presidential terms. But what's even worse is that while the Warriors made the playoffs in the 93-94 season, they haven't won an actual playoff game since the 91-92 season. And you have to go all the way back to the 90-91 season since they last won a playoff series. I wasn't even in junior high when my boys last won a playoff series. Now I'm unemployed with a masters degree. In other words, everything's about the same - the Warriors are in the playoffs and I'm living at home.
