Playoff Musings: Cavs v. Nets

This game was horrible. The only good thing about it was that it was close. LeBron was his usual awesome self (after having a bad Game 3), going for 30 pts, 9 boards and 7 assists as the Cavs limped their way to a victory. I think we all need to marvel at what LeBron is doing, even though he does play in the Leastern Conference. This Cavs team is not all that great and it's a team in which Eric Snow gets significant minutes. The only place Snow should get significant minutes is our local rec league.

Of course the only reason the Cavs won tonight was because Jersey's big three stunk up the joint. They went a combined 11 for 48 from the field. It hurts just to write that sentence. Mikki Moore was the one bright spot for the Nets, scoring 25 and laying the wood to Sasha Pavlovic in response to Varejao's chippy play this series.

So, the battle to see who will lose to the Pistons is almost over, and it looks like that will be the Cavs destiny. Hopefully LeBron and Co. can put up a better fight than the Bulls have.
