By now, almost everyone is familiar with Deuce of Davenport discovering the travesty that is the National Xtreme Baseball League. It's the league that's so XTREME that there could be 29 people on the field at once.
What the hell? Totally Xtreme!
Well, we've got the highlights (or lowlights) from the inaugural game (May 5th) from Sanford Memorial Stadium in Florida featuring the Orlando Dragons and the Miami Pythons. And it is Xtreme to the max! It features everything you'd expect from this league including - dropped fly balls, guys running the wrong direction, confused fans, angry managers, a Mexican band, and of course everyone's personal favorite: a line drive to the groin.
In case you were wondering, and I know you weren't, the Pythons won 11-10.
But let's hear from one of the participants. Do you think the video did this new XTREME sport any justice?
"Hey, I play on the Orlando Dragons(the red team) and was in that game. The person that edited this video unwisely chose some of the lackluster moments of the game. There were plenty of other great plays made in the game that were not shown. It's disappointing how this video represents the player quality in this league."
You said it bro. I don't know about anyone else, but I spotted at least 3 guys who could be suiting up for the Nationals right now.
