Looks like we still have a long way to go in this country

A slightly more serious post here. It seems that Ian Johnson, the player for Boise State who scored the game winning touchdown against Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl, has been getting threats about his upcoming marriage to Chrissy Popadics (best last name ever). If you recall, he's black and she's white.

They're due to be married this Saturday in Boise and Johnson has reportedly received threatening letters, phone calls, and even personal threats from people who don't like their marriage plans.

I find it strange that something like this could happen in 2007, but then I remember that a lot of people in this world are absolute idiots.
