Pro athletes are scofflaws too

It looks like a couple of Pittsburgh Steelers could be in trouble soon. The Allegheny County Court in Pittsburgh just released a list of 52,626 unpaid summary violations issued since the beginning of 2004, including parking and moving violations issued by police.

Steelers linebacker Larry Foote Jr. appears on the list three times, including citations for reckless driving and improper passing. Offensive lineman Max Starks is listed six times for various parking violations. According to Mondesi's House, Plaxico Burress has two citations as well. Athletes have to pay for traffic violations? What the hell is this world coming to?!

Foote, Starks and Burress have until Nov. 20 to request a hearing or plead guilty. Failure to respond, and a judge will issue an arrest warrant. I wonder what Goodell would do if that happened. He'd probably shoot them all on the spot.

I'm just disappointed Ben "Helmet" Roethlisberger didn't make the list. I have a feeling he's probably not the world's safest driver.
