Can someone clean that shit off of my TV? Oh wait, it was just a basketball game

I'm not even going to hold myself back at this point. Tonight's Game 3 of the NBA Finals should have been shown on Versus. It was an abomination. The Spurs even managed to suck the life out of a Cleveland crowd that hasn't had anything to cheer about since forever.

Even worse was Varejao taking that layup near the end of the game on a crucial possession after LeBron passed him the ball. I won't fault LeBron for that, since he was clearly looking for Varejao to pass the ball back out to him. Varejao, you're an absolute idiot.

LeBron was also clearly fouled on the final play of the game and the refs just let it go. Yet another inexplicable break for the Spurs.

Meanwhile, the Spurs, who we still don't believe should even be in the Finals, are about to win another championship. We're boycotting it. And when they win this series, get ready for one no holds barred post sending the Spurs up in flames.

And as for you Stern. We hope you're enjoying watching your league die before your eyes. No one is watching the Finals anymore and people are calling for a massive change in the playoff format, including us. There's also serious questions floating around about whether or not the NBA should even be on primetime TV. Great work Stern, you're almost making the NHL look good these days.

NHL is trying hard to be the bigger idiot though, with talk of expanding into Las Vegas and Kansas City.. Yeesh, 500k people in the US watching the finals not enough of a hint for you goofballs?!

Perhaps with another championship the Spurs can just go away from the league for a while. The Mavs/Suns finals mentioned in the post on reseeding the playoffs had me salivating with delight. But it shall never be.

Ever since the Spurs-Suns series, I've watched two games. Game 5 of Cavs-Pistons and the second half of this one.

Watching Game 5, I figured that the Spurs would do what they're doing and throwing all those defenders at him.

Bowen just keeps pushing the envelope to see how far he can go. It's amazing. Watch out: when he punches LeBron in Game 4, LeBron will get called for the charge.

Buzz Varejao's head...buy him a ticket back to Brazil...and take away his jersey and shoes. I can't stand him.
